Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Our Vocational Adjustment Training | Work Readiness Services help individuals with disabilities develop essential workplace skills, including communication, professionalism, time management, problem-solving, and appropriate workplace behaviors. Services are available to eligible individuals with disabilities who need additional training and support to prepare for successful employment, as determined by their VR counselor.

Employment & Training Services help individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, maintain, and advance in meaningful employment through job readiness training, career development, job placement, and individualized employment support. Services are available to Texans with physical, intellectual, developmental, sensory, or mental health disabilities that create barriers to employment, subject to an eligibility determination.  

• Job Placement: Matching employers with qualified, reliable individuals prepared to contribute in the workplace.
• Work Experience Placement Services: Supporting employers with interns and work-based learning opportunities through structured, no-cost training programs.
• Work Experience Training & Coaching: Providing on-the-job coaching and support during training and onboarding.
• Job Skills Training & Coaching: Enhancing workplace performance through individualized skill development and professional coaching.
• Work Adjustment Training: Equipping individuals with the skills and behaviors needed to successfully adjust to workplace expectations.
